recro.me is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using our service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

• Email address — collected when you sign up or verify your identity via one-time passcode.
• Resume content (temporary) — when you upload a resume, the text is sent to our AI provider for skill extraction and then immediately discarded. We do not store your resume file or raw resume text.
• Extracted skills — a list of technical skills identified from your resume (e.g. "Python", "React") is stored and used to match you to relevant roles.
• Basic usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging purposes.

• We do not store your resume file or full resume text after processing.
• We do not collect payment information — all payments are handled directly by Stripe.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.
• We do not use your data for advertising.

• To match your extracted skills to open roles on our platform.
• To send you a one-time verification code and relevant product updates.
• To operate, improve, and secure the recro.me service.

We use the following third-party services to operate recro.me. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Anthropic (Claude API) — your resume text is sent to Anthropic for AI-based skill extraction. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models by default. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — used for authentication and storing your account data and extracted skills. Data is stored on servers in the United States. Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Resend — used to send transactional emails (verification codes, notifications). Resend Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — used for payment processing. We never see or store your card details. Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — used to host the recro.me application. Vercel Privacy Policy.

recro.me is operated from the United States. Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. By using our service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.

We retain your account data (email, extracted skills) for as long as your account is active. Resume files and raw resume text are never stored. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, email us at team@recro.me and we will remove it within 30 days.

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
